It's an annual tradition for my parents to take their two grandboys to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. We look forward to it every year! Here are the boys:
I had to take the opportunity to wear my cowgirl hat, too! The guys
My favorite cowboy (who refused jeans, boots, or anything else that would hinder his ability to "pet cows")
Ready to rodeo
The boys with Bevo - - Hudson was largely impressed by the longhorns' big bottoms - sheesh!
Can you tell Cooper is excited?! We laughed because C was talking so fast and loud that it was clear how thrilled he was to be with Hudson. This picture really describes the day!
C has a true love for animals - every year he LOVES the petting zoo. He wanted to get right down in their faces and he even tried to kiss a goat! (Good thing the goat gave him the cold shoulder before Cooper could plant one on her!)
Pop couldn't resist the opportunity for a pony ride for his two best boys - -
Cooper's broad grin never left his face!
Long anticipated carnival rides were made better with dairy-free ice cream while we waited (good thinking Uncle Jon!)
You can't pass up the pink elephant ride - I don't care how old you are!
Happy!
Not much is more fun than a family ferris wheel ride...
LOVE that first picture of you and Cooper on the ferris wheel... I might have to print a copy out to put on our fridge. You're so beautiful and Cooper is so stinkin' cute!
love these pics! love the one of dippin' dots "ice cream of the future". i am pretty sure it has been the ice cream of the future since we were kids. AND, you have been on my mind a lot this weekend. we should catch up soon.
Ive been gone for wayyyyy too long! Cooper is too big and cute as can be and you look fabulous! I especially love the hats! Miss yall so much! Love, Ms. Ceci :)
We became a family officially in October 2008 through the wonder of adoption. But our family really began many months before that when I was a foster mom ready to love children and give them back, and Cooper was a 7 month old cherub who captured my heart and changed my plan forever. I never intended to adopt as a single woman, but God had other plans for me. I can't imagine a more beautiful way to spend my life! Cooper made me a mother and together we are a family forever.
