It was love at first sight - - the moment Fabi and Ella met, they were instantly best friends. Sarabeth and Chad's dog, Ella, has provided hours of entertainment and endless amounts of joy for Fabi (and the rest of us!) We agree that the nearly 2 year old dog and nearly 2 year old boy are at about the same developmental level. They both chase balls and retrive them in their mouths, they both slobber a whole lot, and both love ice cream (as the photos below prove!)
We went over to the Underwood's for dinner and dessert and apparently Ella thought that she was included as a guest for dinner. She just couldn't bear the idea of Fabi not sharing his bites of ice cream... Sara, Chad and I thought it was hysterical to watch the two of them standing in front of the spoons with mouths wide open. 
Best friends share everything!
We love our Aunt Sara and Uncle Chad! And of course, BFF Ella!
